Shana is pleased to serve as part of the Home for Life team of professionals and has been involved in the field of health care since 1992. She received her B.A. in Psychology in 1995 and a B.S. in Occupational Therapy in 1998. Her experience stems from working with people of all ages, including pediatrics to older adults. She has worked in various settings of health care, including rehabilitation, long term care, home health care, acute care, and out-patient clinics. She understands the challenges faced with common aging issues to severe disabilities. Her unique entrepreneurial skills began in 2008 when she opened Adaptive Living, LLC. She received her Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) designation and developed Home for Life, a division of Heartland Home Improvements. She will evaluate a person’s abilities and recommend necessary solutions to allow them to safely remain in their home for as long as possible. Currently, Shana is the Director of Community Development and Occupational Therapist for Relive Rehab Group in Wichita.
